Chris and Meredyth. Puerto Vallarta Wedding
I can't believe this was almost two years ago! Just goes to show you how behind I am on blogging! This was Mexico wedding number two for 2017. This time we headed to the west side, to Peurto Vallarta. Unfortunately Adam couldn't get time off work again so soon after our other trip to mexico and so I brought my mom along to keep me company :) Chris and Meredyth (aka Redz). Ah, I cannot say enough amazing things about them. They found me through their friends, Dan and Janine (

Chaeleen and Steve. Four Seasons Vancouver Wedding
I spent New Years Eve 2018 ringing in the new year with Adam, an awesome couple, and hundreds of their friends and family. It definitely beat our usual New Years Eve of desperately trying to stay awake past midnight. Man I feel old as I write that! Chaeleen has been friends with a mutual friend of ours since they were teenagers. Chaeleen did some photography here and there before she met Steve, and years ago, when I first started photography, she had asked me to second shoot

Melanie and Paul. Blackcomb Engagement
When I met with Melanie and she said that her and Paul wanted to do a helicopter engagement shoot, I was so excited. Ever since my first flight and shoot with Compass Heli Tours in 2017 I have been hooked! This time we went with Blackcomb Helicopters and it was especially exciting because Adam (my husband) came as well and did video. I loved that this was both Melanie and Paul's first time in a helicopter. It was so cool to experience it with them. You could just see the awe

Alex and Stephen
How cool is it that my job allows me to travel around with brides and grooms?!? In May, i not only got to go to Mexico once, but twice! And with two amazing couples!! First up was Alex and Stephen in beautiful Cancun. I remember the the first time I met these two. Alex was the chatty, outgoing one, and Stephen said maybe two words the entire time. After our second time together he opened up a little more, and by the time we went to Mexico he was much more open, but still fair

Tamra and Cody. Silverstar Wedding
My first wedding of 2017!! I was sooo looking forward to this one. I hadn't had a wedding since early November and I really miss them in the off season. They truly are my favourite to photograph. When Tamra and Cody booked me for their big day, I decided that Adam and Mikail would come as well and we could make a mini vacation out of it. Snowboarding isn't Jaeden's thing so he stayed home with my parents. :) We drove up Friday after Adam got off of work. The weather was BEAU

Lindsey and Spencer. Okanagan Wedding
I know I say it a lot but I am so lucky that I always get the most amazing clients! One of the many things that I love about being a wedding photographer is that I often continue friendships with my brides and grooms even after the wedding. Lindsey and Spencer are 100% in the category of continuing friendship clients!! Even though their wedding was almost a year ago, and they live 4 hours away, we continue to keep in touch. I didn't have the opportunity of meeting these Linds

Tori and Gage. Backyard Fraser Valley Wedding
I am so glad I finally have some time to share all of last years amazing weddings!!! And I know Tori is dying for me to post this blog! Tori and Gage's wedding was a very memorable one for me. When I told Tori I was prepping this post, I told her that just looking through the pictures brought back such clear memories. So many of the moments of the day were unforgettable for me. From Tori's nerves kicking in while getting her dress on, to her dad and brother seeing her for the

Holly and Kyle. Fraser Valley Backyard Wedding
I was looking through my wedding blog posts recently and thought, oh my goodness I need to update those! I am the worst at blogging my weddings! I think it's because I have such a hard time choosing images. Holly and Kyle's backyard wedding from last summer was definitely no exception. I sure hope you like my images because you are about to scroll through a lot of them! ;) You have to make sure you go to the end though, because their first dance images are AMAZING!! First dan

Jessica and Kenny. Snowy Wedding Shoot
As I'm writing this post, it is heavily snowing outside...again! We have had 4 straight days of snow now. I think this may actually be the most snow I can remember coming at once. I cannot believe it. I thought we were done with snow for the year!! As much as I LOVE the gorgeous images we get in the snow, I do not love being stuck in my house for days at a time. Hopefully I will get out soon and be able to take some more gorgeous shots, like these ones of Kenny and Jessica.

2016 in a Nutshell
Ok, so it's a little late, but let's face it, I'm a slacker when it comes to blogging! 2016 was an amazing year. I am blessed to have a job that I am so incredibly passionate about. I am excited to go to work everyday. I love love love what I do! Photography not only brings me joy, but also provides me with opportunities that I would not normally be given. I photographed 13 weddings of my own in 2016. From Chilliwack, to Mission, to Abbotsford, to Pitt Meadows, to Vernon, to
