Melanie and Paul. Cheakamus Centre, Squamish
Oh man, do I ever miss weddings! Melanie and Paul were married in Squamish last summer and it was the perfect day! I'm not usually a huge forest kind of person but this location was BEAUTIFUL. What a cool spot for them to say their vows, and I loved that we went up the Sea to Sky gondola for the first look. Melanie and Paul were so easy going and relaxed on their big day. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a calmer bride. Melanie was just taking it all in and enjoying the day. T

Tammera and Kenny. Fraser River Lodge Wedding
One of my favourite 2018 weddings! I can't believe it's been over a year! I just love love love this couple. Leading up to the wedding day my bride, Tammera, earned the name "Donut Bride". This is definitely deserving of an explanation! In order for my husband to know which client I am talking about in our conversations, I often give them nicknames associated with them, since just calling them by their names doesn't work for him. During my chats with Tammera, we discovered

Tanya and Rhian. Tofino Wedding
From 2018 but one of my favourite's of that year! I have had the pleasure of photographing so many moments in Tanya and Rhian's adventure together. I was so honoured when they asked me to capture their intimate wedding in Tofino. Personally I had never shot such a small wedding. In attendance for their big day was their four children, one of Tanya's closest friends and her significant other, and myself. I've always known Tanya and Rhian as easy going, calm, loving people. I l

Helicopter Proposal
This one is almost a couple years old now but I still wanted to share! Getting to be apart of someone's proposal is always so exciting. When it's a helicopter ride to the top of a mountain it's even more exciting! Rushil and Aprita came to Vancouver from Chicago for a vacation. Rushil had it planned all along that he would be proposing on one of their excursions. Nick from Compass Heli Tours helped him plan the day. Myself and Adam joined the couple in the helicopter as fell

Kassandra and Joshua. Swaneset Wedding
This was the first time I had the opportunity to shoot at Swaneset in Pitt Meadows and I loved it just as much as I thought I would! I've always wanted to shoot at Hatley Castle in Victoria because of the amazing castle feel and Swaneset reminds me of a small version of it. Plus there are so many amazing spots on the property for photos. When I first met Kassandra, we met for lunch at my favourite restaurant, Cactus Club. It was so great to spend the time getting to know her

Lesley and Peter. Dominican Republic Wedding
I met Lesley and Peter 6 years ago at a friends wedding in Mexico. They were both so sweet and so fun! I was so excited when they contacted me for their 2018 Dominican wedding. The day of the wedding was a hot one and Peter was a trooper in his Indochino suit! Lesley looked absolutely stunning in her simple yet elegant dress. Perfect for a beach wedding. I must say that I enjoyed every single minute of their wedding day. Start to finish it was calm, cool, collected, and of c

Paris and Jafar. Vancouver Engagement
This one might be one of my favourite engagement sessions ever. Not only was the couple seriously stunning and incredibly photogenic, but they were so kind and fun!! Nargess from Fleur de li Events introduced me to Paris and Jafar early in the year and I loved them immediately! We spent almost two hours wandering around the waterfront of Vancouver. We started the session at H Tasting Lounge in the Westin Bayshore with some lifestyle type shots. They ordered some drinks and

A Look Back at 2019
Where to start with this post? 2019 was such a great year, both business wise and personally. One of my main business goals for 2019 was to get a wedding or styled shoot published in print. At the beginning of the year I teamed up with an amazing group of vendors to plan our "Come Fly With Me" styled shoot. It was absolutely beautiful and was published in the Fall/Winter issue of Wedding Bells. Huge shout out to Carly-Anne Pruger from White Table Catering for being the plan

Our Vow Renewal. Disneyland, Anaheim.
Here we are in October already. Where has this year gone?? I feel as I get older, time goes by faster. Does anyone else feel this way? Earlier this year myself, my husband, my boys, and 20 of our friends and family went to Anaheim for our 10 year vow renewal. It was everything we could have asked for and more! It was probably a few years ago that we started talking about doing a vow renewal for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Our original wedding was very small, we were youn

Chelsea and Jason. Fairmont Vancouver Wedding
Another 2017 wedding! Yes, I know we are almost 2 months into 2019 but I still feel to share so many of my favourite weddings that I haven't yet shared. When I was busy photographing Steve and Chaeleen's engagement party I had someone come up to me and said that he thought we had gone to school together. Although we didn't hang out in high school, I immediately recognized him as well. Plus it turned out that him and his fiance were on the hunt for a wedding photographer. W
