Jessica and Adam. Campbell Valley Engagement
These two! They are seriously some of the sweetest people I have met! They are so adorable together!! We had so much fun during their engagement session at Campbell Valley Park in Langley. I think my favourite part of the session may have been when I got them to do a spin. They might not be the most graceful people so it definitely brought out a lot of giggles! :) In just one week they will be walking down the aisle at Triple Swaan Nurseries in Abbotsford. I can't wait to see

Alex and Stephen. Fraser Valley Engagement
Alex was super excited when it snowed and that we could do engagement pictures in the snow! Well I think she got more than she bargained for when she realized that it was a bit of a trek to get to the location. Even I didn't think about the fact that of course the pathways leading to the creek we were going to would not be cleared in any way. Haha, oops! It was also maybe a little chillier than we had expected. By the end, we were wiping runny, red noses, and trying to warm f

Sydney and Justin. Winter Session
I am always so so excited when I get to work with Sydney, from Styled by S (www.styledbys.ca)! We have done numerous sessions together. This time we really wanted to do some sunset snow shots, and lucky for us, the weather gods cooperated and we didn't have to go too far to get them! One of the things that made me love Sydney is her happy go lucky personality! She just seems to have fun no matter what she's doing. I love that during our sessions she has no reservations being

Catrina and Marcus
Another old one! Catrina messaged me about doing photos for her and Marcus' adoption portfolio. When we met up they told me about the way in which they were adopting and I didn't even know it was a thing. They were not adopting a baby, but embryos! I guess you can adopt embryos that other couples have leftover from in vitro fertilization. What an amazing thing! Since doing this session almost two years ago, Catrina and Marcus were chosen by a family in the states to adopt a n

Tamra and Cody. Campbell Valley Engagement Session
Soooo, this session was interesting. I'm sure Cody and Tamra thought I was a little crazy. It was the last session in a day of 5 sessions. I had driven from Mission, to Abbotsford, to Langley, back to Abbotsford, and out to Langley again. And I may have stopped at Starbucks a couple of times for Venti Americanos, and didn't have much to eat on a very busy day, which all may have caused a little bit of a caffeine high! Oops!! I think I was talking about a million miles a minut

Cameron and Lindsey Engagement. Fraser Valley Photographer
I am doing a bit of rebranding and decided that I wanted to get some more engagement photos, so I put out a model call for recently engaged couples. I'm pretty sure that Lindsey was the first to reply. Her and her fiance are gorgeously adorable, and I loved the height difference between them! So cute! To say that the session went off super well with no issues would be a MAJOR understatement :S Sometimes things don't work out as planned, at all, and you just have to go with t

Taryn and Spencer Engagement. Fraser Valley Photographer
When I met with Taryn and Spencer we immediately connected. Taryn told me that one of the reasons she contacted me was because she saw that I had an Alice in Wonderland pinterest board. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that I attract Disney fanatics like myself!! Not only have I shot a "Rustic, Disney" themed wedding here in the Fraser Valley, but I've also shot a wedding in DIsneyland! I'm talking in the park before it opened with no one else there!! Once in a lifetime dream moment!! Anyway

Sydney and Justin. Fraser Valley Photographer
I cannot believe it's been a year since we did these photos! Sydney is the most mature, and sweetest teenager I have ever met! I have gotten to work with her numerous times since meeting her last February. I am so excited for her that she has recently gotten into photography herself, and is also going to University, and I'm sure killing it! #2016 #prom #couples

Amanda and Bob. Fraser Valley Engagement
I met Bob and Amanda recently when we met for coffee to discuss their wedding. Amanda had said that they had a meeting with another photographer and then they would let me know. She messaged me the next day saying that they decided they didn't need to meet with anyone else, and that Bob said, "She is a keeper!" Haha, how awesome is that?!? They are so super sweet, and so clearly very much in love. I cannot wait to photograph their wedding this coming October!! :) #engagement

Tori and Gage. Fraser Valley Engagement.
People like Tori and Gage are why I love my job so much!!! I am so blessed to continually get clients like them. Super sweet and caring, and so much fun! A couple days before our session Tori contacted me with an idea. The first day her and Gage met was when they were both apart of mutual friend's wedding party. Long story short, near the end of the night, Tori smooshed a cupcake into Gage's face, definitely leaving a lasting impression! It wasn't until a while later that the
