Meredyth and Chris. Carnival Fun.
Usually a couple times a year there is a carnival that comes to mission. It is just a little one, probably only 6 or so rides, a few games, and a few food vendors. Last weekend I saw them setting up and decided that doing a shoot there would be so fun! We had some beautiful weather and it has a really great sunset where they set up. I also always love the bright, fun colours I see in carnival shoots! When I decided I wanted to do the shoot I knew these two were the ones I had

Stephen and Alex. Fraser Valley Photographer
I am always drawn to urban locations, places that are a little different. I discovered this abandoned barn a while ago and have been dying to do a shoot there. I thought Alex and Stephen had the perfect look for it!! I LOVED meeting these two! They were so sweet, and so cuddly and in love. Alex actually just informed me today that they got engaged over the weekend! I am so happy and excited for them and I cannot wait to work with them again!! :) #2016 #engagement #couples

Jordan and Danielle. Proposal
Jordan contacted me in December of 2014 and told me he had the idea to capture his proposal to his girlfriend, Danielle. I was soooo excited about it! I had always wanted to shoot a proposal. Jordan was in the midst of getting the ring designed and didnt plan on doing it for a bit, but we stayed in contact throughout the year. Finally in November of 2015 the day had come. We had thrown around ideas of them being out somewhere and me hiding and catching the moment, but eventua

Holly and Kyle
Happy Valentines Day!! What a perfect day to post a blg about love. This post is a little late as I shot this session last summer, but I just have to share these images! They make me miss summer sun and lush green fields. I cant wait for this beautiful weather and settings again! I first met Holly and Kyle at Hollys sister, Julias, wedding in 2014. I was photographing it and Holly was Julias maid of honour. I immediately loved the whole family, and the bond they shared, espe

Meredyth and Chris
Ahhh, so excited about these two!!! This session was a blast. I am so so happy that I get to photograph their wedding next year!! From the moment I met Meredyth and Chris in September of last year, I felt that we immediatley clicked. They are so incredibly sweet, caring, and super silly. Chris calls Meredyth "Reds" and Meredyth teases Chris about his apparent giraffe like appearance. Haha. I love when couples can have fun and joke with each other! Their entire engagement ses

Creekside Engagement
So many engagement sessions lately! Stacey and Josh decided to incorporate their love of travel and all things vintage into their upcoming October wedding, and thought, why not include it in the engagement session as well?! I loved all of the props they brought, including the vintage suitcases they will use for the wedding as well, and the actual maps and brochures from their travels! I can't wait to see the fun ideas they come up with on the wedding day! #2015 #couples #enga

Forever Love
You know when you meet someone and they instantly make a huge impact on your life?? This amazing couple were those kind of people! I was originally contacted by their daughter, Natalie. She told me that her parents "have been married for over 50 years and are still crazy mad in love with each other." Even with her telling me this, I was not prepared for the type of session I would be doing. Before we met up I actually did some research on posing older couples as I felt that

Tat and Rhian
Anybody who knows me knows that I love tattoos. Not just getting them, but seeing other people's. In my opinion, it is a form of art.
It is my love for this art that gave me the idea to photograph people with tattoos, to show the diverse group of people that have them. What was once thought of as something that only bikers and outlaws got, has now turned into something that people from all walks of life get. Young, old, different styles, different personalities. Over t

Janine and Daniel
Janine and Daniel booked me for their June 2015 Vernon wedding without meeting me in person. I was super excited weeks later to finally meet them! I cannot say enough wonderful things about these two. They were so super sweet, and incredibly loving. I hardly had to direct the session at all. Those are true snuggles, smiles, giggles, and kisses you see.
Janine chose Fort Langley as the setting. Her and Daniel had their second date in this quaint little town, at Wendall's

Bobbi and Scott
I first met with Bobbi earlier this year at her parents house, which is the location of her and Scott's upcoming wedding. I immediately loved her, and her dad! She was so super sweet, and he was super eager about the wedding, and about his new business venture, a tattoo studio out of his home. He was so cute, showing me around the property and pointing out all of the spots that will be great for pictures and then showing me his studio and his artwork. I just loved how excited
