Melanie and Paul. Cheakamus Centre, Squamish

Oh man, do I ever miss weddings! Melanie and Paul were married in Squamish last summer and it was the perfect day! I'm not usually a huge forest kind of person but this location was BEAUTIFUL. What a cool spot for them to say their vows, and I loved that we went up the Sea to Sky gondola for the first look.

Melanie and Paul were so easy going and relaxed on their big day. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a calmer bride. Melanie was just taking it all in and enjoying the day. They were married in the middle of a forest, which was perfectly suiting for their personalities. I loved the intimate feel of it. It truly felt like we were the only people in the world for the time being.

When the couple made their entrance into the reception, they surprised their guests with a choreographed dance, and when Melanie and her dad did their dance together, they also had a practiced routine.

I was lucky enough to have my husband accompany for this wedding and do the video (Melanie and Paul).
