Kyla and Josh. Shelby's Pond Wedding.
Ok so I am not exactly up to date with blogging my weddings. The majority of my 2015 ones are waiting to be posted, so be prepared for a flood of weddings soon!
First up is Kyla and Josh's Wine themed, Shelby's Pond June wedding. This wedding was a little different for me because Kyla and Josh live in Manitoba and we had the consultation over the phone, as opposed to in person. They werent able to make it out for an engagement session either, so the first time I met them was actually on the wedding day, although I had been in contact with Kyla so much that I felt like I knew them well.
They had chosen the Royal Hotel in Chilliwack to get ready in. I had never been there before. What a cool hotel! It is all vintage throughout, really neat, old wood everywhere, vintage furnishings, and old floral drapery. I was so excited with the decor and details of everything. During the time when everyone was getting ready Josh sent over his gift to Kyla. Instead of a card, Josh had written on the bottom of Kyla's wedding shoes, "You had me at ham sub". Now this may seem like an odd thing to write, but it represented a very meaningful moment from their first date that brought Kyla to tears immediately. I love capturing such pure emotion!
Their stunning day went off without a hitch. I loved all of the red hues throughout and we were so lucky to get a gorgeous sunset at the end of the day! What a beautiful couple with a wonderful future ahead!! :)
