Akisawa Family
I am always honoured when fellow photographers ask me to photograph them. I was especially excited when Nomo, from Simply Sweet Photography by Nomo Akisawa, asked me. A couple of years ago when I first started doing photography, I discovered Nomo's work. I followed her website and Facebook constantly and would save her gorgeous photos on my iPad for inspiration. About a year and a half ago I hired her to do a trash the dress shoot with me and my husband. And from there our friendship grew. I have been so fortunate, and incredibly grateful to have now worked with Nomo numerous times! She has been an amazing mentor, and someone I am now lucky enough to call my friend. I love that I was able to take some pictures of her, her sister, her mom, and of course their furbabies! I hope that she cherishes these photos. She is a beautiful person, inside and out!!!
